What a damn shame. And it all has to do with a whistleblower Ethics Complaint. It is no surprise that Governor Kay Ivey believed all the BS Hoss Mack told her. Someone woke up Ivy and said, “sign here, say this.” She ignored all the letters to the appointment board and 2 pending federal lawsuits involving Baldwin County Sheriff Office, BCSO, and their Major Crimes Unit. She ignored the wrongful conviction of Murray Lawrence. She also ignored the clown show case of Steve Nodine which involved the same Prosecutor, Sheriff and Judge involved in the case of Murray Lawrence’s wrongful conviction. Mr. Nodine is lucky he was not wrongfully convicted. Ivy ignored the 10 innocent lives lost, that we know of, in the last 15 years in Baldwin County. People who just happen to come into contact with BCSO and then become victims of the BCSO. Their deaths were justified by the Major Crimes Unit of the Sheriff Department who investigated themselves. No accountability, No transparency, No camera footage, and certainly no justice.
Yes VP Harris has gone from the scourge of the democratic party to their darling savior. They were riding high from the Democratic National Convention and then RFK Jr removes his name from battleground ballots and throws in with Candidate Trump consuming all of the oxygen in the room. We have one week left of Sheriff Mack in office here in Baldwin County, Alabama and the Governor is selecting a replacement as we speak. Pray for change but expect the worst. The Family of OJ French Jr, the Bay Minette Justice League, and The French Family Legal Counsel May Jung LLC held a rally on July 31, 2024 where they revealed that they had filed a lawsuit in Federal Court against the City of Bay Minette and Officer Brandon Thompson. Mr. French revealed to the attendees that Mayor Robert Bob Wills lied when he said that he spoke for the family and further stated that they were "ok with the outcome" of the investigation and that this would no longer be at topic of conversation at the request of the family, which is apparently untrue. According to the lawsuit the Officer did not have probable cause for the stop and escalated the situation by demanding that the victim get out of the car. There was then apparently a struggle over a taser and Bay Minette Police Officer Brandon Thompson (acting on your behalf) shot this young man killing him. The fact that this video is not a public record should be a call to action to throw these bastards out, bottom to top- from Mayor Wills to the Legislators who rent his office and any Judge who thinks this video is a Grand Jury Secret, The Grand Jury has seen it and the Officer was cleared. No need to oust the Sheriff because he announced mid July that he is resigning mid August and wants Chief Deputy Anthony Lowery to be appointed to fill out the reminder of his term by Governor Ivey (Whitehouse-like-geriatrics-aside). Then enters County Commissioner Matt McKenzie who also wants the post. This is a major opportunity to moderately interrupt the BOSS HOGG influence in Baldwin County. Write to the Governor and ask her to not appoint Deputy Anthony Lowery (previously discussed in the DEAL WITH THE DEVIL CASE). In the mean time Trump got shot, Biden dropped out of the race, and Alabama intends to legislate that sharks must stay away from the Alabama shore. Mayor Wills and The Major Crimes Unit of Baldwin County are about to learn why the Old Indian Wisdom rings true.
The Lawsuit is included at the end of this post, read it and imagine it was your son! The past is catching up with Sheriff Mack and his self investigating team, Major Crimes Unit. This is the second federal lawsuit and more one is pending. The Ripp Report has been covering the O J French case since he was murdered by Bay Minette police officer Brandon Thompson. Mack is hauling ass out of Baldwin County and he wants Anthony Lowery to replace him. I wonder if Mr. Lowery has given any thought as to what problems, lawsuits and investigations that are surfacing that Mack is trying to dump in Lowery’s lap. Sounds like Sheriff Mack is doing Lowery no favor.
Sheriff Hoss Mack has one foot out the door and is hoping to slide his second choice, Anthony Lowery in as his “suggested” replacement. Lowery has professed in the past that he did not want the job. He has to know that a ton of crap out of the Hoss Boss closet, is going to expose some very embarrassing incidents involving BCSO. I do hope Lowery reads all the comments on the Ripp Report. First I would like to thank all the people who have warned me of retaliation that I may receive for writing the truth about BCSO and Sheriff Mack. Let me assure you that I have talked with the Attorney General’s office, FBI and other federal officials. I not only talked with them but provided documents. In addition we have talked with CNN, Investigative reporters, not in Alabama, Netflix and several producers that may be interested in a documentary.
Finally! For multiple reasons, Sheriff Hoss Mack is retiring. It could be the Federal investigation, the internal investigation, wrongful conviction, federal Lawsuit of Johnathan Victor and a myriad of internal problems within BCSO involving morals, accountability, transparency and of course the GOB, Good ole Boy culture that permeates the entire department. Now is the time for the deputies to put forward who they want as Sheriff. Mack had Andre set up for the position however Andre could not keep his pants up. Next choice would be Anthony Lowery who judging from the comments following the articles, and his checkered history with BCSO, as well as a closet full of cobwebs, Lowery would be the poorest of choices.
