JACK ASS

Well folks, as they often say, “You can’t make this stuff up!” Monday night’s city council meeting showed the true colors of council president “come fly with me” “Jack” Burrell. It was a tough night for Burrell and his faithful Bible study partner, and best friend forever, Senator Tripp Pittman. Recently for the first time in many years Fairhope had a legitimate bid process for the emergency hurricane debris removal contract, which could bring millions of dollars to the recipient. For over ten years straight, the City of Fairhope― through its city council, has awarded the contract to Pittman Tractor, the private business of Senator Lee “Trip” Pittman, an elected official of this city, county and state.

AIRPORT DIVERSION

Jack, come fly with me, has more passengers. The Courier, editor “Chucky Cheese” is working hard for free flights. He has signed on with the pilot, "come fly with me” Jack to cover the most mundane of articles that amounts to cut and paste. The local AM station, it is hard to find, has also signed on to allow Jack all the time he needs to talk about anything but the airport.

INVESTIGATIONS

The Fairhope City Council should be recognized for it’s political spin. City council members, Burrell, Boone and Brown, the busy bees, scurried to Bone and Barrel restaurant immediately after the council meeting Monday night. They know that they should not be meeting, as per open meetings rules, with a quorum of the council, but hell they had to get their stories straight over a drink. This is proof that council members are meeting in a quorum, discussing what? Read line 4, page 2, number 1. DELIBERATION

The Jester The Clone and the Clown

Many people have been following the Ripp Report and the comments made by Jester 666. During public participation of the Fairhope city Council I asked Mr. Robert Brown if he was the Jester, he said no. I then made a comparison to Mr. Brown’s letter, HATE - Ripp Report The mayor tried to mediate the impasse the council and her office are experiencing by suggesting the hiring of an attorney to represent the mayor, to …

HATE

The mayor tried to mediate the impasse the council and her office are experiencing by suggesting the hiring of an attorney to represent the mayor, to mediate with the council's attorney. This is a common practice and is the way the city of Mobile handles similar situations. The threat of a lawsuit only arises if the council refuses and continues to obstruct the mayor. The council refused; however, when it came to “come fly with me” Burrell, when his plane was caught in an ethics investigation, the airport authority approved funds to hire an attorney for Jack. This is the council's definition of FAIRNESS. Take note.
Fairhope City Council depicted as mimes, symbolically obstructing the mayor and supporting Burrell

MIME'S WHITEWASHING

Fairhope City Council plays to the council TV, like mimes. They smile and say all they want is cooperation from the mayor, then slam the door in her face. The last meeting they made it perfectly clear that they stand united in obstructing the mayor and backing “come fly with me” Burrell. All five council members now have all their cards on Jack. They have vowed to seek revenge for the ethics complaint the mayor filed against Jack. An ethics complaint accompanied by at least 4 other complaints, which now Councilman Brown says has “been ruled baseless.” Mr. Brown knows that what he is saying is not true. Investigations are underway. Mr Brown needs to understand that the Ripp Report does not put all it’s eggs in one basket. We fully intend to expose and expand the scope of authorities that may be interested in exposing corruption at Fairhope Airport.
