Heads up, sounds like two different authorities are checking out Fairhope. The Ripp Report is waiting on tips to the Rippster in the hopes of finding out who’s in hot water. Something tells me that the next couple of weeks leading up to the primary election June 5, is going to be very interesting. Stay Tuned. The State Senate Seat for District 32 is one of the more important races of this mid-term. This position was held by boom boom Pittman who was more concerned about his own pocket and covering for the Sheriff. The first thing a new Senator should do is roll back the qualifications for Sheriff that Pittman put in place for Baldwin County. Only Baldwin County has the “structured” qualifications for sheriff in the whole state.
Chris Elliott was appointed to the Baldwin County Commission by Governor Robert, boobie grabber, Bentley. There is a lot of irony in that appointment and it is not Alabama values.
Catalyst represents the good ole boys and they want total control over Baldwin County Government. That means control of the County Commission, Probate Judge, Circuit Judge, Sheriff, District Attorney, and the State Senate seat. As a voter you better damn well wake up because if Catalyst succeeds and gets their selected seeded candidates into office, Baldwin County will be run by Catalyst, behind closed doors. The public will be prohibited from participating and development will swallow us whole.
Once again the voters can see the true colors, and arrogance, of Commissioner’s Dorsey and Elliott. Man chainsaws public barricade, dumps debris in county office Last week a man walked into Baldwin County Commission Chairman Chris Elliott’s office and dumped debris from a piece of county property he had chainsawed down earlier that day. It
Judge Tim Russell is being “aged out” of the position of Probate Judge. He retires with a stellar reputation and sets the bar high for his successor. Judge of Probate for Baldwin County is a very important position which generated 40 million dollars in 2017. It is not required that the position be filled by an attorney, fact is, it would be best that is was NOT an attorney. There are five candidates, and they have been gentlemen and civil among themselves, so far.
It does not take a chain saw, it only takes a vote. Sometimes you have to send a strong public message to politicians, elected officials and appointed boards to get their attention. When people do unite and reach a level of frustration that brings them together, then you see results. Petitions are a very good way to send a strong message. PEOPLE POWER - Ripp Report Congratulations Fairhope citizens your 2276 signatures on a petition convinced the Fairhope Single Tax to back off the proposed Tuberville …
Catalyst is fully supporting Tucker Dorsey for Baldwin County commission and also is hoping Chris Elliott fills the State Senate Race. These Catalyst dogs need to be kicked to the curb, they need to go. If we want our commissioners to listen to the people of Baldwin County and expect the State Senator to represent us, then we must get rid of the dogs. A vote for Tucker Dorsey is a vote for Clarence Burke and Baldwin County Sewer and the many LLC’s Tucker is affiliated with.
The Ripp Report has called on the Baldwin county Legal Eagle to dispatch the Eagle for a bird’s eye view of what developers do not want you to see. The Kant Corte Apartments on Fly Creek are busy clearing the property for the Apartments and their entrance and exit. Highway 98 and Parker Road, is the most dangerous intersection in Fairhope, and has claimed 7 lives. This intersection is going to be impacted by an additional 400 to 600 vehicles when the apartments are complete.
The Fairhope Jester supports the Kant-Corte Apartments on Fly Creek, at the same time he is building his own home on Fly Creek. Surely you jest! The Jester supports the developer, who is responsible for the damage to the creek from the Publix project. The same developer is now building 230 apartments next to the creek. Jester neighbors are not going to be laughing. It has been reported to The Ripp Report that the Jester is also spinning the Ethics Complaint against him. The “down home”, Jester is sticking to his story that he had PERMISSION from the Ethics Commission to secure a contract with the Eastern Shore Art Center. Where is that written “PERMISSION”? Did he provide that information to the Art Center Board? NO
