FAIRHOPE COUNCIL ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL
Fairhope is facing many major issues at one time and the CATALYST council is asleep at the wheel. Coronavirus and the Arts and Craft Festival, HB 203, and Fly Creek Apartments. The Mayor has been very vocal and the CATALYST Council has been as quite as a mouse. Mayor Karin Wilson of Fairhope, Alabama Coronavirus and The Fairhope Arts & Crafts Festival As you know, the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) has received a great deal of attention and discussion within the press and social media. I am happy to report as of yesterday, no COVID-19 cases have been identified in Alabama.

PUBLIC SERVANT
Today’s Freaky Friday is a post by Doug Snow with the Facebook group Baldwin County Citizens for Accountability. No way should the First Congressional District be represented by CATALYST and Hightower is CATALYST. It is in the best interest of the constituents of the First District to elect a PUBLIC SERVANT, Jerry Carl. Please spread the word and vote March 31 for Jerry Carl. Doug Snow As a Jerry Carl supporter, this post reflects my personal opinion, and not the opinion of this group.

RUNOFF
The First Congressional District race is now down to two, Jerry Carl and Bill Hightower. Carl edged out Hightower overall by 1226 votes. Hightower the CATALYST candidate scored 3126 votes more than Carl in Baldwin County. CATALYST predicted 10,000 votes and fell short by more than 66%, this is a blow to their ego and evidence to their organization disintegrating. CATALYST home is Fairhope and they claim all of Baldwin County as their turf. Times are changing and Baldwin County is waking up to CATALYST and their ambitions of total political power.

CATALYST VIRUS
Beware of the Baldwin County CATALYST VIRUS. It is a political Virus spread by politicians that support unbridled development, low or no impact fees, no school impact fees, increased traffic and no planning or county sewer regulation. This virus will effect your quality of life, schools and property values. The virus spreads by CATALYST politicians that are well known for using their appointed or elected office for personal gain. The Virus promotes corruption, if allowed to spread, Baldwin County will be a county of sprawl, mired in traffic.

DANGER ZONE
Highway 98 and Parker Road are becoming more dangerous with every passing day. You can thank the CATALYST Fairhope City Council, former Fairhope Mayor Can’t, and property owner Angelo Corte, a CATALYST supporter. The below listed complaint effects every motorist traveling through the intersection. Please read this, it is what happens when you have politicians and developers in the same bed.

CATALYST KISS
The last Monday night Fairhope City Council meeting and the work session were unnecessary long. Many people have begun to watch the council meeting in their homes, on Youtube. It is convenient and you can moot the council president, when you wish. Council President Burrell has occupied his position for 7 plus years, never sharing the gavel with other councilman. He has to have control and he never, ever, ever, shuts up, except when you ask him about his Police Report, then he gets real quiet.
