Last night Spanish Fort played Fairhope in football. The stands were full, social distancing was all but impossible. When one of the High School Principals was asked why most of those in attendance did not have masks? He explained that they tried to enforce the use of a mask, however once the people got seated they removed their masks. Another event across town was underway, the Fairhope political forum hosted by the Common Sense Campaign. The forum had been scheduled well in advance, by the Common Sense Campaign, and was provided to the citizens to better informed them about Fairhope candidates for Mayor and City Council.
Paula DiNardi Hi everyone...I want to say thank you to all of you who have reached out to me with love & support throughout the past 21 months. I will only post about what is already public record. As most of you know, I was assaulted on Thanksgiving night in 2018 by a local businessman. I was led to believe justice would be served, & it was for just a minute...the city judge found the assailant guilty of assault & public intoxication.
DEAR NEW FAIRHOPE VOTERS: This municipal elections can be won by the young voters that have not voted before and those of you who have moved to Fairhope in the last 10 years. PLEASE READ Today, less than a third of Fairhope's citizens can say they are actually from Fairhope. Most of us are not from here; but we all call it home. We were drawn to the Eastern Shore because of its picturesque, postage stamp vitality, quaint quality of life, and eclectic nature. Many of us in our twilight years, have chosen to retire here; others are just beginning a life, a career and a family. Every resident values Fairhope Every one of us wants to maintain what we have; we agree that there must be a limit to growth, and that which is allowed must be controlled, so that our investment here is not lost to the blissful ignorance of the times. We still believe that Fairhope is a special place worth fighting for.
In 2016 I backed Karin Wilson and the current city council, which includes Burrell Boone and Brown. I got one out of four right, Karin Wilson. I was wrong in trusting Burrell, Boone or Brown but I wanted to believe them when they said that they were independent individuals with only Fairhope’s best interest at heart. What total BS that turned out to be, all three have betrayed Fairhope and used their elected office for personal gain.
TOP 10 QUESTIONS for Sherry Sullivan and the general public. By now you all have heard these weak knee interviews of soft ball questions from Fairhope candidates running for office. In Fairhope we have a fired employee who sued the city, running for Mayor, for all the wrong reasons. Sherry Sullivan who worked under Mayor Cant for almost 16 years. Cant lost and Sherry was fired, as a result of that CATALYST was born. A political group of good ole boys who have brazening labeled themselves and are supported by developers and the profiteers that follow.
Fairhope pay attention: The last four years, Mayor Karin Wilson has been standing up to bullies with special interests that do not align with citizens values. Those bullies are our own councilmen Burrell Boone and Brown who represent CATALYST/ Scott Boone Consulting, CSB. [caption id="attachment_6910" align="aligncenter" width="452"] AL.com - JD Crowe[/caption] This group is run by the son of Councilman Boone, Scott, and financed by special interests. It has also been supported by so called media who wrote paid hit pieces, for the 3 B’s, spewing unfounded allegations meant to mislead the public.
If you live in Baldwin County, please share this post as much as possible. This is very IMPORTANT. The Ripp Report, Baldwin County Legal Eagle, the Ripp Report Facebook page and Backstory Podcast are NOT for profit consumer sites. Our intent is to inform the public of corruption, corrupt politicians and to address every day consumer issues. Our sites do not delete, block, censor or alter comments based on your opinion. Beware of sites that do not practice Free Speech but promote CATALYST, delete posts and comments, and promote a one sided political picture, that of CATALYST. Political hacks of CATALYST and Catalyst candidates are like an “Old Shoe”, worn out.
Where we should be… The explosive growth that Fairhope has been experiencing has not just overloaded our infrastructure it has put strains on our community in other ways that need to be addressed. We have weakened the foundations that this town was built upon, both physical and social, and they need shoring up. As for the physical, it is true that needed improvements have been made to the sewer system. I’d like to see a couple of years go by without a major overflow of sewage into the bay before we put any additional loads on that system.
Just like tea leaves if you look close enough at the local political signs they are sending you a subliminal message. If however you do not allow your eyes to rule your brain, the subliminal message is much clearer. Catalyst has been around for a long time, under various names. Recently Catalyst became Scott Boone Consulting. The name CATALYST had to be abandoned, it had become politically toxic. The other reason is elected officials, elected under the CATALYST banner, were disassociating with the brand.
The Mayor of Fairhope has won four years in a row, The Nappi Award for the HARDEST WORKING ELECTED CITY OFFICIAL—EASTERN SHORE MAYOR KARIN WILSON FAIRHOPE The Mayor has received 4 Nappi Awards, during the same time the council has been awarded nothing, ZERO. The council has fought the Mayor tooth and nail for 4 years and she still accomplished, in spite of them, more in 4 years than the previous Mayor did in 16 years.
