Frances (Fran) J. Neumann of Daphne, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 28, 2021 from natural causes. She was ninety-three going on a hundred, her oft-expressed goal. Fran was a prominent artist in Daphne whose work literally spanned the nation by virtue of her vast contributions to commercial advertising. She created the “Daphne” sculpture and fountain in front of Daphne City Hall, the Marietta Johnson sculpture in Utopia Park, Fairhope, and the Marie Howland sculpture now in Fairhope Library to mention a few of her public works of art.
Alabama Attorney General 501 Washington ave. Montgomery Alabama 36104 Alabama Attorney General Attention Mr Steve Marshall Dear Sir: During the last election cycle I had the pleasure of talking with you in Fairhope Alabama, during one of your campaign stops. I explained to you the level of corruption in Baldwin County and how the Alabama Ethics Commission was not investigating ethics complaints. You assure me, if elected, your office would take all complaints seriously. This has not been the case. In fact your office did not even respond to a complaint, or investigate the complaint, that I personally delivered to your investigators in Montgomery. The case involved a Fairhope councilman, using his board position to personally enrich himself. In this particular case the Ethics Commission believed the Councilman without any independent investigation.
I hope you will continue to follow the story of Alabama’s “self-dealing”, Alabama Ethics Director, Tom Albritton. First you need to read the below article. The state of Alabama is number one in the nation for political corruption. The Alabama Ethics Commission is the main reason for our infamous reputation for corruption. The below article should be read by every citizen in Alabama. Stay silent, stay corrupt. Self-dealing? — Ethics director’s kids’ tuition paid from trust he oversees As director of the Alabama Ethics Commission, Tom Albritton is the state’s policeman for conflicts of interest and ethical breaches that can arise throughout all levels of government, but having
Alabama Ethics Commission is an organization that doles out immunity from prosecution to politicians seeking legal graft. The Ripp Report has filed numerous complaints with the Ethics commission in the last dozen years. Complaints ranging from the BP Oil Spill and our, last State Senator, boom boom Pittman, who skimmed a cool $750.000.00 for his personal company, while being the trustee of the funds. Pittman’s Bible buddy, Jack Burrell, and the lawyers and judges, who all were involved with the “alleged” bid-rigging at the Fairhope, “Jack Burrell Airport.” Former councilman Robert Brown who at the same time was on the Fairhope Art Center board, awarded himself a 300,000 plus contract. The Ethics Commission found nothing wrong, everyone just collected his money and kept on trucking.
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot! Alabama’s Ole Mo probably sunk the Bayway “Truck Bridge” because of his strong conviction of the 10th amendment. Problem is, Alabama has no money and depends on Washington. So the 10th amendment will keep Alabama firmly last place in most major categories? MO for U.S. Senate means NO More for Alabama. I-10 IS A FEDERAL HIGHWAY Brooks says bridge funding local issue FAIRHOPE – A Republican candidate in the race to replace U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby said he would support local efforts to build a new Mobile River bridge and Bayway, but that funding should be at the state and local level, not federal.
All of us have experienced people that are narcissist or sociopaths. Maybe psychopaths and the very worst possible murderers. John McAfee fits every one of those categories. McAfee had two other attributes that made him even more dangerous. High intelligence and money. Those of you that know me, know that I have been following McAfee for years. I lived in Belize for 16 years and am a proud Belizian since the Independence of the country, September 21, 1981.
DOUBLE RED FLAGS at the beach this weekend. Rip-currents rough seas and high water. The same can be said about Faux-Hope. Red flags are going up faster than the American flag on July 4th. The Fairhope City Council is following Jack Burrell down ever rabbit hole he can fit in. The taxpayers of Fairhope are clueless, when it comes to their tax dollars. Fairhope has spent millions of dollars on the Airport and has never seen a dollar in return.
Alabama is known to be last in almost every category. Be it obesity, drugs, education, prisons and much more. Alabama has no lottery and is not even considering the millions, maybe billions, in revenue from decriminalization of marijuana. I am sure Alabama will be last in that category. Alabama is first in political corruption. Now we will be first to install a toll on I-10. The only toll. If our political leaders have it their way, Alabama will be known as the toll bridge state.
