He has done it again. The Ripp Report has predicted numerous times that Ronan McSharry would continue his intoxication fueled assaults on women. The Paula DiNardi case ended up being an example of just how bad the municipal court and the municipal attorney are in Fairhope. Mr McSharry has assaulted yet another woman, racking up his ninth arrest, all involving alcohol. This would not have happened except for the failing of the city attorney, Marcus McDowell. It should also be noted councilman Jack Burrell is best friends of McSharry. The city council did nothing. I do hope the latest victim realizes the failings of the municipal attorney Marcus McDowell. She needs additional council and should sue the city for allowing McSharry’s to continue his drunken rages against women and the city’s responsibility and it’s incompetence in the DiNardi case.

No one denies that a Mobile bridge is needed. What so obvious is that the politicians have united to make decisions contrary to their original promises. When the no tolls petition hit 50,000 the politicians panicked and started covering their asses. We heard no tolls, no federal money and “we have to listen to our constituents.” The bridge is needed but traffic is second to expanding development, that is the major motivator.
The Attorney General of Alabama, Steve Marshall is doing the Alabama Shuffle. It is easy he just mentions key words like Biden, Abortion, Immigration or files frivolous lawsuits. That is all it takes to sidetrack his constituents. Marshall may go down as the worst Alabama A.G. “Always Gone” in the last 25 years. No white collar crimes or political corruption cases submitted to the A.G.’s office, see the light of day.

If a herd of elephants were to roam loose in Alabama, most news sources could not find them. Probably the biggest story, political story, is the evidence emerging about the Bar Association and the Ethics Executive Director. Only Lagniappe has had the balls to print the facts. The Attorney General has only covered the backs of the Bar and Ethics, no criminal charges have been filed. Now a civil lawsuit has been filed, outlining the charges against the Ethics Director. Will this finally wake up the press ? Maybe, however The Ripp Report is going to disseminate the articles and facts for you. If this is not clear evidence of how corrupt Alabama is, what is? No state agency, or our Governor have taken any action. Alabama will remain the most corrupt state and laughing stock of the United States, if such blatant corruption is ignored.
The Baldwin County Commission is tearing down our unique 112 year old goblet water tower to make way for a Jail (what we call progress). Roy Moore is a loser. Fairhope has a leadership problem. The AG, State Bar, and Ethics Commission... ( No Court in Alabama this coming week as all the Judges will be in San Destin, Florida at a Conference. Journalist in Alabama appear to only cover certain news. They favor their own commentary and shy away from news “scoops” from another local news source. They are ignoring the elephants on Goat Hill.
